Information We Collect

  • Images you upload: photos of you and clothing items you provide for the virtual try‑on experience.
  • Account information: email address and basic profile data when you sign in via supported providers.
  • Usage and device data: anonymized analytics, pages viewed, approximate location (by IP), and technical diagnostics to keep the service reliable.
  • Subscription and billing metadata: plan, renewal status, order identifiers and payment status from our payment processor to manage your subscription. We do not store card numbers.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and bill for the service (account creation, subscription management, fraud prevention).
  • Process your virtual try‑on requests and deliver results quickly and reliably.
  • Provide customer support and product improvements, including A/B testing and analytics.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Image Handling and Retention

Images you upload are used solely to generate try‑on results. They are not permanently stored. In most cases, images are deleted automatically after processing or within a short operational window necessary for reliability and troubleshooting.

Account, billing, and support records are retained for as long as you maintain an active subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal and accounting requirements.

Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and privacy‑respecting analytics to understand feature usage and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

Sharing and Third Parties

  • Payments: Subscriptions are processed by our payment partner. We receive order and status information but do not store full payment details.
  • Hosting and processing: We use reputable cloud providers to host and deliver the service. Providers only process data on our behalf and under contract.
  • Business customers: If your account is provisioned by an organization, your organization’s administrator may control or access account data in accordance with their internal policies.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our protections.

Your Choices

  • Access or delete your account data by contacting support.
  • Export your information upon request where technically feasible.
  • Opt out of non‑essential communications at any time.

If you require a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for your organization, contact us and we will provide one for signature.

Children’s Privacy

InstaBanana is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed in data centers outside your country. We apply appropriate protections consistent with applicable laws.

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
